My style is warm but direct. I’ll gently name what I’m noticing, keep us focused on what matters most to you, and help the work carry over into the rest of your week.

I believe therapy should be effective, practical, and grounded in what promotes real, sustainable change. I’m not interested in keeping you in the room longer than you need to be, or in handing you advice that sounds good but falls apart the moment real life gets complicated. I want you to leave with tools you can actually use.

How I work

I work primarily from the Gottman Method, helping couples communicate, reconnect, repair trust, and handle conflict before it spirals. It’s one of the most heavily researched approaches in the field, so what we do together rests on decades of evidence rather than hunches.

Couples find me at all kinds of moments: the hopeful early days, the raw weeks after betrayal, the slow rebuild following a hard year. Any of them is a fine place to start.

Who I help

My practice centers on relationships in all their forms, alongside the personal challenges that often sit underneath them:

  • Couples, marriages, and partners at every stage
  • Singles and individuals working on growth, transitions, and relationship patterns
  • Partners healing after betrayal, an affair, or broken trust
  • Individuals and families affected by substance use and addiction
  • Parents, kids, and families navigating change together

Education

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University in 2019, building on a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Nevada, Reno, which I completed in 2018. Alongside my degrees, I am a Certified Gottman Therapist through The Gottman Institute and continue advanced training so the tools we use together reflect current relationship science.

Licensure and substance use evaluations

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), licensed in Nevada, Iowa, and Florida. As a substance use counselor, I’m also able to conduct court-ordered substance use evaluations. If the court or your attorney has requested an evaluation, reach out and let me know what’s needed.
